DAY ONE - Puerto Rico
Although Puerto Rico is known for its excellent climate and friendly people, you’ll also discover an island where past meets present. From one of the most prestigious historic quarters in the New World to one of the ancient archaeological sites of the Tainos - it’s yours to experience! Your San Juan hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of the popular Condado Beach.

DAY TWO – Modern & Historic San Juan
Discover modern San Juan as you drive in air-conditioned comfort through the modern areas of Isla Verde and Condado on your way into Old San Juan, one of the most beautiful old cities in the New World. Learn about the history on your guided walking tour of historical Old San Juan. The highlight will be the massive 16th century Fortress of El Morro. Later, visit San Jose Church, the second oldest church in the Western Hemisphere.

DAY THREE - El Yunque Rain Forest
The entire area of El Yunque is a bird sanctuary and holds claim to being the only tropical rain forest in the U.S. National Forest System. Visit El Portal before exploring the tropical rainforest in-depth with a hiking guide specialist. Then, return to your hotel and relax on the beach or return to San Juan.

DAY FOUR - Arecibo-Camuy
Motorcoach past lush landscape, pineapple farms, and jagged eroded limestone cliffs on your way to Arecibo. Visit the Arecibo Observatory, site of the world’s largest electronic radiotelescope, which is poised, listening nonstop for signs of extra-terrestrial life. Later, explore Camuy Caves, where you’ll board open-air trolleys which twist and turn their way through the road carved out of verdant foliage before reaching the moss-lined entrance to the massive subterranean wonderland.

DAY FIVE - Ponce
On your drive to Ponce, explore Hacienda Buena Vista, a preserved coffee plantation is an impressive setting. Explore Ponce, Pearl of the South. Your first stop is Serralles Castle, a magnificent example of Spanish Revival architecture popular in the 1920’s. Next, stroll the tree-lined spacious plaza with the cathedral and fanciful red and black Parque de Bombas, imported from a world’s fair.

DAY SIX – La Parguera
Drive through the Lajas Valley for two relaxing nights at La Parguera. This typical fishing village has developed into a popular resort community, yet it has maintained its small town, friendly atmosphere. Enjoy your hotel pool.

DAY SEVEN - Phosphorescent Bay Cruise
Arrange your favorite water sports, such as snorkeling or kayaking, or relax by the hotel pool. Tonight, board your evening boat ride to Phosphorescent Bay. No words can describe the excitement on a moonless night as the black sea becomes alive with millions of sparks of light, rivaling the dazzle of the stars in the tropical night.

DAY EIGHT - Departure
